Guatemala Update
Have you ever wondered how two churches like St. Paul’s UCC in Marshfield Wisconsin and St. Stephens UCC of Merrill could make a difference in somebody’s life? I am proud to say that the women and children in several small villages in Guatemala will be receiving close to One Thousand dollars! One thousand dollars might not sound like much to us but remember what our friends there live on in a year. It’s huge! It honestly might be the difference of life or death for some. I personally thank everyone who contributed to making a difference in their lives and giving them hope. Besides the money, we have raised awareness to their oppression and hopefully have helped in making their lives safer and free from senseless killing by sending the letters to our Senator and the president of Guatemala. This project was good but just think of the good we can do if we really put our minds and hearts into the next one. I will always be grateful for your support and kindness in trying to help our brothers and sisters in Guatemala. Thank you and may God bless you! Pastor Tim Miller
